We've put together this page to answer some of the questions we're most commonly asked about appointments, gift certificates, cancellations and our booking policies.

As a small independent business, we aim to make our policies as clear and transparent as possible so that every client knows exactly what to expect when booking with us.

Many of our policies have been developed over many years in business and are designed to ensure fairness to all clients whilst protecting the time, well-being and livelihoods of our therapists. Whilst we fully appreciate that genuine and unforeseen circumstances can arise, our policies are applied consistently and without exception.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice cannot be refunded or rescheduled under any circumstances.

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you and your therapist commits their schedule fully to your session. As we are usually unable to refill appointments cancelled at short notice, our cancellation policy is in place to protect the livelihoods of our therapists and the sustainability of our business.

Whilst we fully appreciate that genuine and unforeseen circumstances can arise, our cancellation policy is applied consistently and without exception.

Why can't you make exceptions to your cancellation policy?

We understand that life can be unpredictable and that genuine and upsetting situations can sometimes occur.

As therapists, we work from a place of care, compassion and understanding, and it is never easy to uphold a policy when we know someone is disappointed.

However, in order to be fair to all clients and protect the livelihoods of our therapists, our policies must be applied consistently. If we were to make exceptions based on individual circumstances, it would quickly become difficult to apply our policies fairly and sustainably.

For this reason, appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

How do I cancel an appointment?

All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to cancel@chakratherapyrooms.com.

Cancellation requests are processed according to the time and date the email is received.

How long are gift certificates valid for?

Gift certificates are valid for six months from the date of purchase and can only be redeemed within their validity period.

This allows all gift certificate recipients an equal opportunity to book appointments during the period for which their voucher was purchased and enables us to manage availability fairly for all clients.

Can I extend an expired gift certificate?

No. Gift certificates can only be redeemed within their stated validity period and cannot be extended, reactivated or redeemed after their expiry date.

We understand that there can be many genuine reasons why a gift certificate goes unused, and we appreciate that every client's circumstances are important. However, in order to ensure fairness to all clients, gift certificate terms are applied consistently and without exception.

How do I book an appointment?

All available appointments can be viewed and booked online via our website.

Our online booking system displays our most up-to-date availability and is the quickest and easiest way to secure an appointment.

How do I book a treatment?

All of our bookings are managed online, with appointment availability displayed in advance. You can choose from a range of available dates and times, subject to therapist availability.

Once you have selected your preferred appointment, simply enter your contact details and complete payment securely by card or PayPal.

What should I wear for a treatment?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Loose clothing is great. We will give you water on arrival, but feel free to bring extra water as hydrating after your treatment is an important part of the detoxifying process. Some of our treatments are conducted clothed, some without clothes (but keep your underwear on please).

Do I wear underwear in my massage session?

As above, yes please. We are an extremely professional therapy centre, with wellness as our sole focus. We can answer any additional queries or discuss the best apparel to prepare for your treatment, give Kerrie a call or email relax@chakratherapyrooms.com

Should I arrive early?

We recommend arriving no more than 5 minutes before your appointment, as we have a small waiting area and may be unable to accommodate early arrivals.

Arriving a few minutes before your scheduled appointment gives you time to settle in, use the toilet facilities if required, and get comfortable in the treatment room before your session begins.

Arriving on time also helps ensure you receive your full treatment time. If you arrive late, we may be unable to extend your session, as our therapists often have appointments scheduled after yours.

Whilst we allow time between appointments, this is carefully allocated to prepare treatment rooms and maintain the high standards of cleanliness, comfort and care that our clients expect.

How do gift vouchers work?

Select the amount you would like to gift then enter your details to receive your e-voucher.

Each voucher has a unique code which will be emailed to you once your gift voucher has been purchased.

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions.

Gift certificates are valid for six months from the date of purchase and can only be redeemed within their stated validity period. Expired gift certificates cannot be extended, reactivated or redeemed after their expiry date.

Gift certificates may be used as full or part payment towards any treatment booking at Chakra Therapy Rooms. Only one gift certificate may be used per treatment booking.

All gift certificate bookings are subject to therapist availability and must be booked in advance through our online booking system.

Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged wholly or partly for cash.

Chakra Therapy Rooms cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen, damaged or altered gift certificates.
