How do I buy a treatment?

All our bookings are handled online, our availability for treatments is all listed in advance, and you can choose from different days and times (subject to availability of therapists). You choose when, and then add your contact details and pay via Paypal.

Tech stuff (you don’t need to know this stuff to book): We use an online booking system, powered by software called ‘Acuity’, which is embedded into our Squarespace website. Payments are handled securely by PayPal & Stripe (for credit and debit cards).

What should I wear for a treatment?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Loose clothing is great. We will give you water and herbal tea, but feel free to bring extra water. Some of our treatments are conducted clothed, some without clothes (but keep your underwear on please).

Do I wear underwear in my massage session?

As above, yes please. We are an extremely professional therapy centre, with wellness as our sole focus. We can answer any additional queries or discuss the best apparel to prepare for your treatment, give Kerrie a call or email relax@chakratherapyrooms.com

Should I arrive early?

It’s useful to arrive around 5 minutes early for your appointment, depending on the current COVID advice. We do have a small waiting area, and the time can be used to ensure you have used the toilet facilities if required, and have ample time to get comfortable in the treatment room prior to the session commencing. Arriving in good time ensures that you receive your full session time - if you are late, we won’t usually be able to run over the allotted session time. We book up, and although we allow time between sessions, this is used to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are exemplary.

How do gift vouchers work?

Our gift vouchers are purely digital. When you select a voucher (either an amount of money or a voucher for a specific treatment), the booking system allows you to choose and pay for the voucher. You don’t choose a time at this point.

Enter your own details (or the details of the person PAYING for the voucher).

You’ll then receive a confirmation email with a redeemable code and a separate email with a gift voucher. You can pass this on to the person you wish to gift the treatment too.

If you haven’t got the voucher a few mins (30/45mins) after ordering - first, please check your junk/spam email folder, if there is nothing in there, please email: relax@chakratherapyrooms.com and we will re-issue the voucher to you directly.

Once your gift recipient has the voucher (and the redeemable code), they simply log on to https://www.chakratherapyrooms.com/bookings and choose the treatment they wish to book. The voucher can be used at checkout to part or fully pay in section 2, simply click ‘Redeem Code’ and a box will open for the code to be pasted or typed in.

Gift Certificate/Coupon/Voucher Terms and Conditions.

Gift certificates may only be used for whole or part payment for treatment bookings.

Gift certificates are redeemable subject to availability at Chakra Therapy Rooms.

All bookings exchanged for gift certificates must be pre-booked online and presented upon arrival.

Gift certificates may not be exchanged wholly or partly for cash.

The company does not accept responsibility for the loss, theft, damage or alteration of gift certificates.

What about COVID safety?

We pride ourselves on having outstanding levels of cleanliness and hygiene in general.

These are uncertain times and we monitor the advice given by the UK government regularly to ensure we keep fully up to date with any additional requirements needed to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. If you have any special requests, please just ask.
