At Chakra we value your privacy above everything. When you add your details into our online booking system, they are only used to contact you with reference to a booking. We don’t automatically add you to a marketing list, and we do not, and would not ever sell your data.
We track user activity on the site using tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar, these tools provide us with anonymous, aggregated information about how people visit and use the site. We use this information to fix the user experience or improve the site to make it easier and more pleasant for you to use.
If you sign up to our email newsletter, or follow us on a social platform, we might engage with you in the same ways, all within the rules provided by GDPR.
SECURITY
Any data you provide is always treated with as high a degree of security as we can muster. The website is a cloud based platform from the well regarded provider Squarespace, and we use a connected service called Acuity Scheduling to manage our online bookings.
